Roster Swapping 

Who should switch shows later this year?

As 2017 unfolds the rosters are going to get shuffled a bit on both shows.  While I hope we don’t get a whole new draft (completely unnecessary in my opinion) there are some swaps and call ups that would make some sense to me, other than what we think are obvious moves.(Nakamura to RAW, for example).  Here’s what I got:

AJ Styles to RAW

By the time Wrestlemania comes and goes Styles will probably not be the WWE World Champion anymore, and will have faced everyone worth tangling with on the Smackdown roster.  At the same time we have yet to see him in any kind of program with Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, or Finn Balor. Bringing him over can also jumpstart the Club by way of a reunion.  That’s a win for everyone involved.

Roman Reigns to Smackdown 

Roman has the same problem as AJ in that he’s fought everyone there is to fight on RAW from Seth to KO to Rusev.  A move to Smackdown opens up possibilities with Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, a reprise with Bray Wyatt or Randy Orton and of course John Cena.  It also allows for someone to hold the fort down while Cena isn’t there who can work every week and put on a good match.  

Sasha Banks to Smackdown 

Sasha and Charlotte need to be kept away from each other for a while and Sasha is a better fit with the rest of the Smackdown women’s roster than Charlotte.  Moving her also opens up room for Asuka and Emma on the RAW roster to get some real work in.

New Day to Smackdown 

Like Roman, they have nothing else to do on RAW.  On Smackdown they can challenge American Alpha for the tag belts and Big E can get the singles title program he deserves.  Or you can split them up and just send Big E to Smackdown.  Either way New Day could use a new home.

Shinsuke Nakamura to Smackdown 

Smackdown needs another heavy hitter, and with Samoa Joe on RAW now it makes sense to send Nakamura to Smackdown.  Nakamura vs Cena would be great, and he could have somw really good matches with Dean Ambrose,  Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, or even The Miz or Dolph Ziggler.  Plus he’s an instant World Title contender as opposed to getting stuck in the mix on RAW.

Kallisto to RAW

He’s got nothing going on Smackdown. Might as well put the Lucha Dragons back together and have them challenge for the tag titles.

Team DIY to RAW

RAW needs a good face team and these guys will be available as soon as they drop the NXT belts to the Authors of Pain.  Easy move here.  

Those are some of my ideas.  We’ll see what happens.
