The face of victory As anyone who has ever talked to me about pro wrestling knows I've been at this fan thing since 1985. Now since then Women's wrestling has had it's ups and downs, particularly in the US. And as tumultuous a time as it's had as a whole it's been less kind to … Continue reading What Bianca’s win means to me
Super Bowl thoughts
The game was ultimately a lopsided affair but it's the kind of lopsided game I like - a great defensive performance and great strategy on offense and defense from the Buccaneers. I did turn it off after the third quarter but not because I was bored. In fact, I was expecting a Chiefs comeback right … Continue reading Super Bowl thoughts
Bianca’s win for Black Women
Note: Because of the uniqueness of this event I felt it was best to get a woman's perspective so this piece is authored by a guest writer, Tonya Rodgers. You can find her on Twitter at @TheWitchMilitia. I have been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remember. As a little girl in … Continue reading Bianca’s win for Black Women

How does it really happen? We are a few days away from the Royal Rumble, and as always we are speculating as to who could and who should win. The State of Star Wars
Us Star Wars fans find ourselves at a very interesting place at this point in time. Just a year ago it wasn't looking so great. The final film in the Skywalker saga landed with mixed reviews at best and the negative ones were way louder than all. The Rise of Skywalker, despite grossing over a … Continue reading The State of Star Wars
Retro Recap – Survivor Series 1987
This was the inaugural running of this event, and it's origin is that basically Vince McMahon did not want NWA promoter Jim Crockett getting a foothold in pay per view, and created an event that ran the same night to force cable companies to choose which one they would carry. You see kids back then … Continue reading Retro Recap – Survivor Series 1987
Survivor Series 2020
Dual Brand Battle Royal How good a battle royal is, regardless of company comes down to a couple of things - how good the finish is and how much of the match they put any effort into laying out other than the finish. They did a good job on both here in that there were … Continue reading Survivor Series 2020
Review – Lego Star Wars Holiday Special
Am I seriously gonna review this?Well yes. That wasn't the original plan but then I saw some pretentious jerk on Twitter say it was awful and a sad attempt at salvaging public opinion for the sequel trilogy, etc. And I said to myself, what in the hell is wrong with these people? For real you're … Continue reading Review – Lego Star Wars Holiday Special
