Hell in the Cell is this Sunday as you all know. What do I think is gonna happen? Here we go:
Kickoff Show Match: Dolph Ziggler, Neville, and Cesaro vs Rusev, Sheamus, and King Barrett
This is perfect to get the crowd warmed up. It should be good and everyone will hit their signature stuff. I expect Tyler Breeze to interfere to move forward his beef with Ziggler and cost Dolph and his teammates the victory.
Diva’s Title Match: Charlotte (c) vs Nikki Bella
Their last match was ok with a seemingly rushed finish; hopefully they’ll keep this one in sync with the clock so it doesn’t seem so awkward at the end. The question here is whether or not this is the end of the road for Nikki as a title contender or if she will inexplicably get the title back and prove right all the people who think she’s trading on her offscreen relationship for onscreen success (I don’t really care if she is fine as long as it doesn’t result in stupid booking. It’s one thing to win and hold the title when the division was depleted but there’s no reason to put the belt back on her now). My guess is that Charlotte keeps the belt here and plays out the string in November and December dealing with Paige.
Intercontinental Title Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs Ryback
Owens just got the belt last month so dropping it here makes no sense. This match seems to be a candidate to get cut short for time in order to make sure the cell matches get enough. My guess is that Ryback wins this one by DQ to set up a final match next month.
U.S. Title Match: John Cena (c) vs ??
This is another open challenge, and it’s known that Cena is going to be gone for a little while to do a reality show so he’ll likely drop it here. The question is…to who? Everyone plausible seems to be occupied already with the exception of Dean Ambrose, Big Show, newcomer Breeze, the Miz, and Stardust. I have no idea who’s coming through that curtain but I hope it’s somebody good.
Tag Team Title Match: New Day (c) vs The Dudleys
This one won’t last too long either for the same reason as the I-C Title match. I’m guessing the Dudleys win here and keep the belts for a spell just to shake it up for a while before dropping them back to New Day.
Hell in the Cell: Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt
We’ll see how this goes. I think they can give us a good one. I expect some run-ins by the other members of the Wyatt Family, Ambrose, and Lord knows who else before Roman gets a final victory over Bray and they can both move on.
Hell in the Cell World Title Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs Kane
Kane’s not winning the title here. He’ll pull what weight he can and Rollins will do what he does and we should have a good match. Will Sheamus cash in his Money in the Bank here? Doubt it since this won’t be the last match.
Main Event – Hell in the Cell: Brock Lesnar vs the Undertaker
Their Summerslam match far exceeded expectations minus the wacky finish so they should be able to do well here. This is the final chapter and Brock has business ahead that’s more important than ‘Taker so I’m picking him to win it here.
